Returns & Refund Policy

How returns, refunds, and exchanges work for your purchases.

This policy applies to U.S. customers and U.S. deliveries only. It explains how Viminto LLC handles returns, refunds, replacements, and cancellations.

1. Quick Summary

This policy does not reduce your rights for defective products or items that don't match their description.

2. Definitions

  • "Delivery Date" โ€” The date carrier tracking shows the package was delivered
  • "Unused/Unopened" โ€” Product has not been powered on, used, or had seals/films removed
  • "Defective" โ€” Product doesn't function as intended due to manufacturing issue
  • "Final Sale" โ€” Non-returnable except if defective (as required by law)

3. Return Eligibility

3.1 Standard (Non-Defective) Returns: You may request a return within 30 days of delivery if:

  • Item is unused and unopened
  • Item is in original packaging (including accessories, cords, manuals)
  • You have proof of purchase (order number, receipt, confirmation email)

Because we sell health devices that contact skin/body and involve electrical components, we may refuse non-defective returns for used/opened products. This protects customer safety and hygiene.

4. Non-Returnable Items

Unless stated otherwise, these items are not eligible for non-defective returns:

  • Used or opened products (including items powered on)
  • Items missing original packaging or components
  • Items damaged by misuse, improper handling, or unauthorized repairs
  • Final sale/clearance items (marked at purchase)
  • Gift cards
  • Digital products/downloads

Exception: If an item is defective or arrives damaged, these restrictions may not apply (see Section 6).

5. Return Window

Standard Return Window: 30 days from the Delivery Date

Late Returns: Requests after 30 days may be denied. If we approve a late return as a courtesy, additional conditions may apply.

6. Defective or Damaged Items

โœ“ No restocking fee for confirmed defects or shipping damage

6.1 Damaged in Transit: Contact us within 3 days of delivery with photos of the shipping box, packaging, and damaged product. We'll offer replacement or full refund.

6.2 Defective Product: Contact us with your order number, issue description, and photos/video. If confirmed defective, we'll provide replacement or full refund.

What qualifies as defective:

  • Device doesn't power on
  • Device malfunctions or fails to operate as described
  • Manufacturing defect
  • Arrives non-functional

7. How to Start a Return

Request Return Authorization (RMA)

Email returns@viminto.com with your order number, item(s), reason, and photos (for damaged/defective).

Receive Return Instructions

If approved, we'll email your RMA number, return address, and prepaid label (if applicable).

Pack & Ship

Use original packaging, include all parts/accessories, write RMA number on package.

Inspection & Refund

We inspect the return and process your refund within 7-10 business days.

โš ๏ธ Returns shipped without authorization may be delayed or rejected.

8. Restocking Fees

8.1 When It Applies: A 15% restocking fee applies to non-defective returns when disclosed at checkout.

Example Calculation:

Item Price: $200 โ†’ Restocking Fee: 15% = $30 โ†’ Your Refund: $170

8.2 No Restocking Fee For:

  • Confirmed defective items
  • Items damaged in transit
  • Incorrect items shipped by us
  • Items that don't match the product description

California Disclosure: Per Cal. Civil Code ยง 1723, restocking fees are conspicuously disclosed before purchase.

9. Return Shipping Costs

Non-Defective Returns: You are responsible for return shipping costs unless we offer free returns at checkout. If we provide a prepaid label, the cost may be deducted from your refund.

Defective/Damaged Returns: We cover return shipping (typically via prepaid label).

Original Shipping Fees: Generally non-refundable unless return is due to our error or confirmed defect.

10. Refunds

10.1 Refund Method: Refunds are issued to your original payment method.

10.2 Refund Timing: We process refunds within 7-10 business days after receiving your return. Your bank may take an additional 3-10 business days to post the credit.

10.3 Partial Refunds: May apply if:

  • Returned item is missing parts/accessories
  • Item shows signs of use (non-defective return)
  • Restocking fee applies
  • Prepaid return label cost deducted

11. Exchanges & Replacements

Exchanges: Subject to the same eligibility as returns. You may return an eligible item and place a new order.

Replacements: For confirmed defective or shipping-damaged items, we may offer a replacement when inventory is available.

12. Order Changes & Cancellations

Before Shipping: Contact us immediately to change or cancel. We may not be able to cancel once processed or shipped.

FTC Compliance: We follow the FTC's Mail/Internet Order Rule - we ship within promised timeframes and notify you if delays occur, giving you the option to consent or cancel for a refund.

13. Chargebacks & Disputes

If you have a problem, please contact us first so we can help resolve it directly.

If you file a chargeback without contacting us, we may provide documentation to your bank including delivery confirmation and support history. Nothing in this section limits your rights under consumer protection laws.

14. Third-Party Marketplace Purchases

โš ๏ธ Products purchased from Amazon, eBay, Walmart, or other third-party marketplaces are NOT eligible for returns through Viminto directly.

If you purchased a Viminto product from a third-party marketplace:

  • Returns & Refunds: Must be handled through the marketplace where you purchased (Amazon, eBay, Walmart, etc.)
  • Shipping Issues: Contact the marketplace or seller directly
  • Order Questions: Contact the marketplace customer service

โœ“ What Viminto DOES Handle for Third-Party Purchases:

Warranty Claims: If your Viminto product is defective and within our warranty period, contact us at warranty@viminto.com with proof of purchase. We'll honor our manufacturer warranty regardless of where you bought the product.

16. Policy Updates

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last Updated" date shows when changes were posted. The policy in effect at the time of your purchase generally applies to that purchase unless law requires otherwise.

17. California Disclosure

We display this policy and any limitations/fees conspicuously on our website and at checkout, consistent with California law:

  • Cal. Civil Code ยง 1723: Restocking fees and return restrictions are disclosed before purchase
  • SB 478 (Honest Pricing Law): All mandatory fees are disclosed upfront in the advertised price

If the policy is not properly displayed, California consumers may have the right to a full refund within 30 days with proof of purchase.
